The first baseball card I ever had was the PeeWee Reese card in this set. As a result, PeeWee became my favorite player, and he remained my favorite player until the Dodgers pulled up and left town after the 1957 season. Unfortunately, Jackie Robinson did not appear in the 1952 Bowman set. My favorite pitcher was Preacher Roe, who went 44-8 in 1951, 1952 and 1953.
